eBay Seller Hub In Flux: Sellers Missing Tasks & Other Important Info
eBay sellers struggling with changes being made to Seller Hub overview design urged to be patient as updates continue to rollout and may not yet be finalized.
For the last several weeks, eBay has been showing a banner in Seller Hub advising that changes are coming soon, but some have still been caught off guard saying they are missing the Tasks section, as well as links to other important information, and they are disappointed that they no longer have the option to customize the layout of the overview page.
Task tile gone on seller hub overview....
Did anyone else just lost the "Tasks" tile on their seller hub overview?.....and active link that let you re-arange the tiles?
Yeah, I was just seeing. Mine is still there, but the tiles are rearranged. I don't see an option to customize it anymore though on mine but I can still customize the shortcut page.
I have been refreshing, the page keeps changing its layout. Is now different than it was 5 minutes ago.
I think they are working on something with it, so be patient everyone.
That call for patience was echoed in other community forum threads on the topic as well, with multiple sellers saying they are seeing things change again when they refresh the page so it's like eBay may still be working on rolling out the update and this is not yet the final version.
Seller Hub Layout Change
According to the help page regarding the seller hub I should be able to customize it. But there is no link for customizing anything. Didn't there used to be? The eBay rep I just spoke to told me that they new layout is how they decided it was best for us. And if I want them to change it back I should provide feedback. We all know how that goes...
IN any case, why do they still have tips that don't apply? I'll never understand how they can make changes to sites and just leave help pages for previous versions of the same site.
I suggest everyone take a deep breath and wait it out. They may be rolling some changes to the hub that might monkey it around for a bit.
Frequent community contributor WastingTime101 provided screenshots taken from different accounts, bolstering the idea that the changes are still rolling out and may not be finalized or applied to all accounts just yet.
eBay is in the process of making changes. Give it more time.
On one of my accounts it's a bunch of missing info. On another of my accounts I'm seeing this:
As you can see, changes are still in progress. Some Tasks have transitioned into smaller bars at the top...
...Really hope eBay brings back that customize link! I rely on it and definitely want to change my customization order if Tasks is gone and replaced by those top level boxes.
As things are still in flux, it's probably a good idea to give it a few hours for the update to complete.
After that, if you're still missing the Task section, don't see a link to customize or have any other thoughts or opinions you'd like to share with eBay about their new Seller Hub design - click the question mark in the lower right corner of the screen and choose the option to send feedback.
